Happy Birthday Poem to Me

Every year on my birthday I like to write a poem just for fun.
Hope you enjoy celebrating my birthday with me!

Don't fall on the floor.
Don't gasp or abhor!
I'll cut to the core.
Today I'm 64.

I am not poor.
I purr instead of snore.
I didn't vote for Al Gore.
So much to thank God for.

So happy I just want to roar!
Booksales sometimes soar.
This I know for sure,
My God is not folklore.

A son came home from the war.
A husband I adore.
I'm a Tigger, not an E'yore.
Grandchildren two times four.

Life is not a bore.
I'm celebrating at the shore.
Don't show me the door.
If God grants me one more,

I'll still be alive
to celebrate 65!

Splashes of Serenity every day of the year hoped for you!
