Why Writers Need Cheerleaders

Last night was the final night my writer's group met with all eight of us present. I'm moving three hours away and trust God to put other writers in my life to encourage, critique, hone, improve, and celebrate each other's lives and attempts to become the best writers within our gifting. We've had fun, we've cried, we've published, we've disagreed, we've laughed, we've become the greatest of friends. Lisa Buske wrote a blog about our group. It's worth a read, and I hope an encouragement for you to start a writers' group in your community. You'll be glad you did. You'll be better for it in more ways than in improved writing. Here's her blog: Let her words splash some serenity on you today!

Prayers for all writers today. The writing life can be difficult. The road is less painful when you have a writer's group of cheerleaders dancing with you! Write on!
