Elaine, The Vietnam War is such a blight in our history. It's a war that our politicians lost, not our soldiers. I lost a cousin over there and another cousin was wounded.
My hubby was drafted into the Marines during that time, but because it was only for two years, he didn't go over.
You and your husband should be very proud of his bravery, but most of all for the grace of God and his perfect plan for our lives. Dan had, and still has, a wonderful ministry before him. 1 Corinthians 15:10

Marsha, I LOVED the verse 1 Cor. 15:10. Never noticed it before. Looked it up since you cited it. What a blessing that was to me today. Thank you. I lost a cousin the in Vietnam war as well. He was killed in a different helicopter crash. Such loss. We must not forget these sacrifices. Thanks again for the great verse you brought to my attention. Love you.
